Job summary

Talentify is seeking an Optician to join our eyewear sales team. You will assist patients in selecting frames and lenses, take precise measurements, and ensure accurate prescriptions are fulfilled while delivering excellent service.

You will work with lab technicians, explain options, and help patients understand care, coatings, and warranties. Prior ophthalmic experience and HIPAA awareness are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of one year experience as an Optician preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Excellent customer service and sales abilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell eyewear and accessories to patients.
• Assist patients in frame and lens selection.
• Take and verify patient measurements for proper fit.
• Interpret prescriptions from optometrists/ophthalmologists.
• Prepare lab work orders and follow up on orders.
