Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to greet patients and guide them through available products and services, ensuring an easy and memorable visit. You will foster a strong partnership between the retail and clinical teams, schedule appointments, and perform pre-tests.

You will assist with eye care services, maintain brand standards, and help deliver eyeglasses on time while delivering excellent customer service. A customer-first mindset and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher certification, or currently enrolled in a related program.
• 2+ years of customer service experience delivering quality care to patients.
• Strong communication, active listening, and empathy.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Commitment to customer satisfaction and results.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, and promote available products and services.
• Foster partnership between retail team and professional services.
• Schedule appointments and collect patient history, perform pre-tests and basic eye-care tests.
• Assist management with patient complaints and inform status of jobs.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping.
• Assemble lenses into frames and edge stock lenses for timely delivery.
• Monitor lab area, report equipment issues, and ensure orders are accurate and on time.
• Track delivery times to patients to ensure compliance.
• Other duties as assigned.
