Job summary

LensCrafters in Kingston, MA seeks an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience by ensuring high-quality optometric care and seamless patient flow between doctor and retail functions. You will greet customers, explain tests and paperwork, assist with frame and lens selection, process orders, and maintain HIPAA-compliant records while supporting a team in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
Familiarity with cash registers, computers and calculators.

Responsibilities

Greet customers within 30 seconds.
Answer the telephone within 3 rings in a friendly manner.
Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy; identify special needs and consult with Optician/Managing Doctor.
Operate the POS system with accuracy and handle payments.
Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient records.
Ensure timely response to store promotions and maintain displays.
