Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure high-quality optometric care. You will greet customers, explain services, review prescriptions, and coordinate with Optometrists and Retail staff to link doctor and store functions.

You will handle patient records, manage orders, operate POS systems, and maintain store appearance while delivering exceptional service and problem resolution.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers promptly and answers phones.
• Explains paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information, consulting with Optician/Doctor when necessary.
• Maintains HIPAA-compliant patient records.
• Operates the POS system and processes payments accurately.
• Places contact lens orders and processes shipments.
• Maintains store appearance and visual displays per guidelines.
• Delivers the LensCrafters Experience and supports patient care.
