Job summary

LensCrafters EyeCare Advisor role focuses on delivering the LensCrafters Experience and high-quality optometric care. You will assist customers with frame and lens selections, explain tests and paperwork, and connect patient care with the doctor and retail teams.

The position requires strong customer service, teamwork, and sales skills, with attention to HIPAA and accurate POS transactions, in a fast-paced retail optometry environment.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers within 30 seconds.
• Answers the telephone promptly (3 rings) in a friendly manner.
• Explains required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Reviews prescriptions and patient information, maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Operates the POS system accurately and handles payments.
• Maintains store appearance and visual displays per guidelines.
