Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure top-quality optical care for patients and customers. The role involves greeting guests, guiding frame and lens choices, coordinating with clinicians, and maintaining accurate records in a HIPAA-compliant environment.

Responsibilities include sharp product knowledge, efficient checkout, scheduling, and contributing to a welcoming store atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills (internal and external).
• Knowledge of current fashion trends.
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Organization skills.
• Sales skills.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Knowledge of office and store merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers within 30 seconds of arrival.
• Answer the telephone promptly (3 rings) in a friendly manner.
• Explain all required paperwork, tests, products and services.
• Review prescriptions and patient information with care.
• Maintain store appearance and visual displays per guidelines.
• Operate the POS system with accuracy and handle payments securely.
• Provide guidance on frame and lens selections for vision and lifestyle.
• Assist in optical care coaching and patient service processes.
