Job summary

LensCrafters seeks an EyeCare Advisor to deliver the LensCrafters Experience, guiding patients through eyewear selections and ensuring high-quality optometric care. You will coordinate with optometrists and retail teams to link the doctor and store functions while maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, explaining tests and services, and processing payments with precision.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Customer service skills with internal and external customers required.
• Knowledge of fashion trends helpful for eyewear and frames.
• Strong communication and listening abilities are essential.
• Problem solving ability is important for customer needs.
• Familiarity with cash register, computers and calculators.
• Good organization and sales skills are needed.
• Solid math skills and knowledge of store merchandise are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and guide them through the LensCrafters experience.
• Explain paperwork, tests, products, and services to customers.
• Assist customers with frame and lens selections based on lifestyle and budget.
• Process pre-examination tasks and coordinate with Optician and Doctor as needed.
• Operate POS system accurately and handle payments securely.
• Maintain store appearance and safety, including visual displays and HIPAA-compliant records.
