Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is hiring a Doctor Technician to provide outstanding customer service to patients and support the flow between clinical and retail teams. You will greet patients, assist with product promotions, and help maintain accurate patient records while ensuring a top-notch experience in a store setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork with PEG clinicians, adherence to clinical standards, and proactive engagement to improve the patient journey.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
• Skills necessary to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Schedule flexibility; work hours will be determined by business needs.
• Knowledgeable about Microsoft Suite 365.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and promote available products/services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services to enhance patient experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; assist management with patient inquiries and order follow-ups.
• Maintain patient records securely and in compliance with HIPAA requirements.
• Assist with lab tasks, frame edging, and ensure timely delivery of eyeglasses.
