Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group is seeking a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding patient service and to act as the meaningful first touchpoint in-store, supporting the clinical to retail transition.

You will assist with diagnostic pre-testing, digital refraction and contact lens care under PEG supervision, communicate with supervising physicians, meet training standards, and help maintain patient records with HIPAA compliance while driving store goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
• Skills to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• An associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Are you consistently promoting high work standards while empowering others to have an entrepreneurial mentality with our company?
• Knowledgeable about Microsoft Suite 365.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers and identify their needs while promoting products and services.
• Coordinate with retail and clinical teams to ensure smooth patient experience.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Maintain patient records confidential and HIPAA compliant.
• Assist with basic lens edging and repairs to expedite delivery.
• Ensure brand standards in lab area and communicate equipment issues.
