Job summary

Physicians Eyecare Group seeks a Doctor Technician to deliver outstanding patient service at our store locations. You will support clinical and retail teams, promote available products and services, and help ensure a smooth patient flow from reception to treatment and purchase.

The role requires 1+ year of customer service experience, an associate degree or higher, and familiarity with Microsoft Office 365. Optical experience is a plus; compensation includes base pay plus commission and bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.
• Skills to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• Promote high work standards while empowering others with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Schedule flexibility; work hours determined by business needs.
• Knowledgeable about Microsoft Suite 365.
• Optical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store and identify needs to ensure an easy and memorable experience while promoting products and services.
• Provide promotions on products and services and answer customer inquiries; gather necessary information for sales.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Assist Management with patient complaint resolution and inform status of pending orders.
• Maintain patient records confidential and HIPAA compliant.
• Execute simple customer repairs, assemble lenses into frames, and edge stock lenses to expedite delivery.
