Job summary

Stanton Optical is hiring for a Doctor’s Technician-like role focused on delivering exceptional patient service while bridging the clinical and retail teams. You will greet patients, gather information, schedule tests, and assist with lens edging and order fulfillment in a fast-paced store environment.

We value an associate degree or equivalent, 2+ years of customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to multitask.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification required or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, ability to build rapport and empathize with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and flexibility in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, and present available products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services teams.
• Schedule appointments and collect patient information; perform basic tests and record medical history.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards and perform light lab duties and housekeeping as needed.
• Edge and assemble lenses, ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Monitor lab standards and report equipment issues or order discrepancies.
• Track delivery times to patients and ensure 100% compliance.
• Handle other duties as assigned.
