Warby Parker in the United States is seeking compassionate Optometric Technicians to work with our Optometrists in stores, handling a high patient volume, performing pre-testing, assisting with contact lens training, and delivering video-assisted eye exams where available.

You will collect critical data, maintain accurate records, support appointment flow, and help keep exam rooms clean and organized, while adhering to HIPAA/privacy policies.

Competenze

• 1+ years experience in a medical environment supporting doctors.
• Completion of an Optometric Technician training program or CPOT certification.
• Experience with optometry equipment and EMR systems.

Mansioni

• Act as liaison between doctor and patient to ensure a smooth eye exam experience.
• Perform preliminary clinical data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure).
• Support in person and video-assisted eye exams when available.
• Deliver insertion/removal training for new contact lens wearers and train teammates.
• Assist with appointment flow, confirmations, outreach, and follow-ups.
• Maintain organized exam rooms, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness.
• Help the doctor maintain accurate patient records and prepare reports as needed.
• Support the retail sales team as directed by the Store Leader.
