Job summary

Warby Parker in the United States seeks an Optometric Technician to work with our optometrists in a fast-paced retail setting. You will perform pre-testing, collect data, and assist with contact lens training to help deliver a positive eye exam experience.

You are patient-focused, tech-savvy, and able to multitask while maintaining meticulous records of results and supporting the doctor during appointments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between doctor and patient to build rapport.
• Perform preliminary clinical data collection (autorefraction, visual acuity, eye pressure, pupil testing, etc.).
• Support in-person and video-assisted eye exam appointments as available.
• Train patients on contact lens insertion/removal and train team members when needed.
• Manage appointment confirmations, outreach, and follow-up to ensure smooth visits.
• Maintain accurate records of data collected and assist in report preparation.
