Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optometric Technician to work closely with our optometrists in a fast-paced store setting. You will help with pre-testing, data collection, and training new staff on contact lens insertion and removal, while ensuring a smooth patient flow and accurate records.

You will also assist with appointment coordination, help prepare reports for doctors, and support the store team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and compliance with privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary liaison between doctor and patient and build rapport.
• Perform preliminary clinical data collection and tests.
• Support in person and video assisted eye exam appointments.
• Train new staff on insertion/removal training for contacts.
• Assist with appointment confirmations and follow-ups to ensure smooth visits.
• Maintain accurate patient data and exam room organization.
• Prepare reports for medical professionals and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Support store team and maintain cleanliness of equipment and supplies.
