Job summary

LensCrafters, part of EssilorLuxottica, seeks an Optometric Technician to support patient care and the exam process. You will assist the optometrist, manage patient flow, and ensure accurate documentation and HIPAA compliance.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced retail eyecare environment. Training provided and opportunities for growth within the LensCrafters network.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).
• Leadership skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communicator and listener with good organization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly with a smile and display a professional image.
• Answer phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations, including history taking and pre-exam prep.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy; coordinate with staff as needed.
• Explain measurements and procedures to patients and answer questions.
