Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Optometric Technician to create the LensCrafters Experience for every patient. You will help the optometrist with exams, gather patient histories, and prepare patients for procedures.

Maintain patient records and input data with accuracy while adhering to HIPAA rules. You’ll greet patients warmly, handle scheduling, and support both the exam and retail areas as needed, including inventory and contact lens room upkeep.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).
• Strong communicator and listener.
• Problem solving ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to assess priorities, address multiple tasks and deadlines in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Knowledge of office environment.
• Strong basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the LensCrafters Experience and ensure the highest quality optometric care.
• Assist the optometrist during exams and prepare patients.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy and HIPAA compliance.
• Support inventory and contact lens room upkeep.
• Provide coaching and guidance to patients on care and handling of contact lenses.
• Ensure a clean, organized exam and patient areas.
