LensCrafters seeks an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience by assisting the optometrist, preparing patients for exams and ensuring high-quality care. You will help connect the doctor and retail functions, supporting accurate testing and patient communication.

The ideal candidate has a year of customer service experience, strong communication, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced retail environment. HIPAA compliance and clinical support are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients promptly and maintain a professional image.
• Answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Assist the optometrist during eye examinations and prepare patients.
• Review prescriptions and patient information carefully; identify special needs and consult when necessary.
• Maintain patient records and ensure HIPAA compliance.
• Input patient data, insurance information and services into the CIAO system.
• Support retention efforts and scheduling, including calls and confirmations.
