Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking an Optometric Technician to deliver the LensCrafters Experience by supporting the doctor and retail teams during exams. You will greet patients, perform pre-exam testing, and handle patient records with care and privacy.

You will assist the optometrist, manage the CIAO data entry for fees and patient information, and help maintain the contact lens area and inventory while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year strong customer service skills (internal/external).
• Leadership skills and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and display a professional image.
• Assist optometrist with eye examinations and prepare patients for testing.
• Review prescriptions and patient information for accuracy and privacy (HIPAA).
• Input patient data and services into the CIAO system with correct fees.
• Maintain inventory and cleanliness of the exam and contact lens areas.
• Support retail as capacity and patient demand allows.
