iCare Health Solutions, a VSP Vision™ company, is seeking a scheduling coordinator to manage patient appointments across ophthalmology and optometry practices and surgery centers. You will handle high-volume inbound calls, coordinate with providers, and ensure accurate patient information is collected and documented.

• 2 years of experience in healthcare or related field.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound patient calls in a high-volume call center environment.
• Schedule patient with the appropriate provider based on need/issue.
• Use systems to determine appointment availability and schedule the appropriate appointment.
• Collect patient demographic information including insurance coverage and medical history.
• Educate patients on referral process and arrange diagnostic testing when needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy of health information.
