Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to serve as the friendly first touchpoint, delivering outstanding customer service and aiding the seamless flow between clinical and retail teams. You will facilitate sales, schedule appointments, and help ensure every patient has a positive, efficient visit.

Responsibilities include assisting with pre-tests, eye measurements, basic lab work, and coordinating with the clinical services team.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification required or current enrollment in related program.
• Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience with patients or customers.
• Strong communication skills across diverse groups.
• Active listening, rapport building, and empathy essential.
• Proactive problem solving and adaptability in a team setting.
• Collaborative, respectful relationships with team and patients.
• Results-driven with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers, identify needs, promote products/services, and gather information to facilitate sales.
• Foster partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule/confirm appointments, enter patient history, perform pre-tests and basic eye tests.
• Help management resolve patient complaints and communicate status of all jobs.
• Maintain brand standards and housekeeping.
• Assemble lenses, edge stock lenses, and ensure on-time delivery of eyeglasses.
• Monitor lab area for equipment issues and order accuracy.
• Track delivery times to patients for reliability.
• Other duties as assigned.
