Stanton Optical is seeking Doctor’s Technicians to be the meaningful first touchpoint in our store, delivering outstanding customer service while facilitating sales and coordinating between our clinical services and retail teams.

You will greet patients, schedule appointments, conduct pre-tests and basic eye exams, assist with repairs and lens edging, and help ensure on-time delivery of orders while maintaining brand standards.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or advanced certification beyond a high school diploma; or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Effective communication with a diverse group of people.
• Active listening, building rapport, and empathizing with patients.
• Proactive problem solving to address patient concerns.
• Collaborative spirit and respectful relationships with team and patients.
• Result-driven, able to multitask and adapt in a team environment.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and a positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers as they enter the store, identify needs, and promote products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history and information; perform pre-test procedures and basic eye tests.
• Assist management with patient issue resolution and communicate status of orders to ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain brand standards through housekeeping and proper lab/stock handling.
• Edge lenses, assemble frames, and ensure accurate, timely delivery of orders.
• Notify management of equipment malfunctions or order issues in the lab area.
