Job summary

Stanton Optical is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to deliver excellent patient service and support the flow between clinical and retail teams in our on-site store. You will assist with pre-tests, scheduling, and coordinating patient care while helping drive sales and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification required or in progress.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients/customers.
• Strong communication with diverse groups; active listening and empathy.
• Proactive problem solving, ability to build rapport with patients.
• Collaborative spirit and respectful team relationships.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.
• Passion for customer satisfaction and positive demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store, identify needs, and present available products/services.
• Foster a strong partnership between retail and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, enter patient history, perform pre-tests and basic exams as needed.
• Assist management with patient complaints and communicate status of orders.
• Maintain brand standards with housekeeping and cleanliness in store areas.
• Assemble lenses into frames, edge stock lenses, and ensure accurate, timely delivery of orders.
• Monitor lab quality and report equipment issues or order inaccuracies to management.
• Track delivery times to patients to meet promises and ensure satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
