Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an outside District Sales Manager to drive growth in assigned territories. You will report to the Director of Sales and develop market opportunities for pre-engineered metal buildings and related systems.

Responsibilities include creating market plans, understanding customer needs, presenting product benefits, generating quotes, and maintaining strong relationships with customers while traveling 50-70% as required.

Qualifications

• Two years of proven sales/marketing or sales management experience required.
• Preferred building materials experience in pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, or metal roof/wall systems.
• Strong understanding of drafting, estimating, and inside sales functions.
• Ability to understand and translate architectural plans and specifications.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to analyze market conditions and competition to optimize strategic responses.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement market plans with customer analysis and revenue goals.
• Understand key customers’ business and critical measures for each account.
• Communicate features and benefits of products and systems offered by Retail Direct.
• Identify and pursue customer leads; probe to understand needs.
• Educate customers, interpret project requirements, and develop specifications.
• Generate estimates and sales for pre-engineered metal buildings and related systems; close quotes.
• Ensure pricing compliance with policies; maintain customer relationships.
• Collaborate with internal departments to optimize customer experience.
• Serve as liaison between customer and company for issues and desires.
• Analyze and report competitive market information.
• Provide customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
