Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Outside District Sales Manager to drive sales growth and retention for assigned territories, reporting to the Director of Sales. You will lead market development and profitable growth across the region while coordinating with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role requires at least two years in sales or sales management, with experience in building materials preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of proven sales/marketing or sales management experience.
• Preferred Building Materials experiences in pre-engineered metal buildings, pole barns, or metal roof and wall systems.
• Strong understanding of Drafting, Estimating and Inside Sales functions.
• Ability to comprehend and translate architectural plans and specifications.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with detail orientation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement viable market plans with customer analysis, insights, growth opportunities and revenue goals.
• Understand key customers’ business and the critical measures that drive each account.
• Communicate features and benefits of all products and systems offered by Retail Direct.
• Identify and pursue customer leads and opportunities and understand customer needs.
• Educate customers, interpret project requirements, and develop project specifications.
• Generate professional project estimates and sales of pre-engineered metal buildings and related systems; follow up and close quotes.
• Ensure pricing compliance with guidelines and procedures.
• Serve as the customer’s point of contact and maintain positive relationships.
• Collaborate with internal departments to optimize customer experience.
• Act as liaison between customer and company for problems and desires.
• Analyze and report competitive market information.
• Provide customer-focused activities, deliverables, and services.
• Other duties as assigned.
