Job summary

Insomniac Events, based in Los Angeles, seeks an Entertainment Project Manager to join our on-site entertainment team. The role reports to the Entertainment Director and works across production, HR, and accounting to support show operations and staff.

Responsibilities include budgeting, travel coordination, payroll management for staff and performers, vendor contracts, permits, and maintaining safe, compliant event environments. Strong event coordination experience required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of event coordinating/planning and execution.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets for budgeting and schedules.
• Experience coordinating with HR, payroll, vendors and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement event protocols and department guidelines.
• Handle director communications and correspondence.
• Submit final show budgets and manage expenses.
• Attend and set department meetings as needed.
• Advance travel, visas, and accommodation for staff and performers.
• Oversee site operations, production, credentials, and warehouse advancing.
• Partner with HR to maintain roster and new hire paperwork.
• Manage payroll for Entertainment Dept staff, performers and vendors.
• Secure bids and finalize vendor and artist agreements.
• Prepare production reports and ensure safety permits are obtained.
