Job summary

Insomniac is seeking a Creative Project Manager to support the Design department in Calabasas. This role will manage the flow of work across the team, prioritize projects, balance bandwidth, and ensure on-time delivery from brief through final asset.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience managing many creative assets in fast-paced environments and will partner with executives, department leaders, and brand stakeholders to align on priorities, timelines, and delivery expectations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in creative project management or related operations.
• Experience in a creative agency, entertainment company, live-events organization, or high-volume in-house team.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and large asset volumes across timelines.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day workflow, prioritization, scheduling, and delivery of creative projects across Design.
• Evaluate team bandwidth with leadership to assign projects and balance workload.
• Oversee project assignments with internal designers and external partners based on priority.
• Coordinate with executives, marketing, and brand stakeholders to align on needs and timelines.
• Lead intake, kickoff meetings, planning, workback schedules, and clear stakeholder updates.
• Ensure key visuals, campaigns, and launch materials are scoped, staffed, and delivered on time.
• Maintain project status visibility, risks, and resource constraints; adjust as needed.
• Manage Asana tasks, dependencies, due dates, reporting, and hygiene.
• Coordinate feedback, reviews, approvals, and final asset delivery across stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation, briefs, timelines, and final asset archives.
• Support QA and readiness reviews to ensure complete and approved materials.
• Improve intake, prioritization, file organization, and reporting processes.
• Attend events as needed, including evenings, weekends, and travel.
