Job summary

Insomniac Events is seeking an Entertainment Project Manager to join our on-site Entertainment team. The role reports to the Entertainment Director and requires hands-on coordination across shows, staff, vendors, and performers at various event locations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of event coordinating and strong budgeting experience, with willingness to travel extensively. This non-remote position emphasizes onsite leadership, safety, and seamless execution of festival operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of event coordinating, planning and execution.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets.
• Ability to effectively manage groups of staff.
• Motivated with an "Everything is possible" attitude.
• Active problem solver with urgency for projects large and small.
• Must be able to stand for four hours and walk long distances.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
• Willingness to travel to work events during holidays, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Implement departmental and event protocols.
• Receive incoming communications on behalf of the Director.
• Follow budget directives and keep on track.
• Review and submit final show budgets as requested.
• Set and attend meetings for the department or Director.
• Process expense reports and petty cash tracking.
• Advance travel, visas and accommodations for staff and performers.
• Assist with setup and breakdown of the Entertainment Department at festivals.
• Recruit, hire and develop operational support team members.
• Travel will be required (economy).
