WSP Global Inc. is seeking an experienced POWER Testing and Energization Technician to join our PTE team across multiple western states. You will perform protection and control testing on high voltage substations, using Omicron and Doble gear, and document activities with field forms and mobile apps.

Travel up to 80% is required. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in electrical testing, strong relay knowledge, and familiarity with NETA/IEEE standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years in electrical testing, including HV equipment.
• Experience with protective relays and testing equipment.
• Knowledge of NETA, IEEE and NFPA standards.
• Ability to travel up to 80%.

Aufgaben

• Perform testing and commissioning on protection and control systems for high voltage substations.
• Conduct on-site relay testing using Omicron and Doble equipment.
• Document field activities with digital tools and logs.
• Support project leads and field supervision on assignments.
• Escalate complex issues to site leadership and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, and contractors to maintain quality.
