Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization Lead P&C Technician Field Services to support projects across multiple western states. The role involves leading field operations, performing on-site protection and control testing, and mentoring technicians in safety and documentation.

The candidate will work with Omicron and Doble test sets, coordinate with engineers and clients, and travel up to 80% to deliver solutions in power delivery, generation, and substations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 11+ years in electrical testing (medium/high voltage breakers, transformers, CT/PT, relays).
• Expertise with transmission/generation/distribution relays and protective schemes.
• Advanced skills in protective relays testing, calibration, and test-set operation.
• Experience with testing standards (NETA, IEEE, NFPA).
• Willingness to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for complex projects with expert technical guidance.
