Job summary

WSP USA seeks a POWER Testing and Energization Experienced P&C Field Services Technician for Texas locations. You will perform protection and control testing for high voltage substations, using Omicron and Doble equipment, and document field data while supporting field teams.

Requirements include 7+ years in electrical testing, 15 kV–500 kV experience, IEEE/NETA/NFPA familiarity, and willingness to travel up to 80%. WSP offers comprehensive benefits and a flexible workplace model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in electrical testing, protecting and controlling gear.
• Experience with high and medium voltage systems and protective relays.
• Familiar with NETA, IEEE, NFPA standards and field testing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing and commissioning tasks for protection and control systems on HV substations.
• On-site relay testing using Omicron and Doble equipment; document results.
• Support field teams, mentor junior technicians, maintain logs and safety compliance.
