Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop in Tulsa, Oklahoma seeks a Chief Workshop Manager to drive the workshop’s success, deliver an exceptional Guest experience, and lead a high-performing, engaged team while meeting financial goals and upholding brand standards.

You will coach AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders, set weekly schedules, handle hiring and promotions, enforce policies, safeguard store security and cash, manage inventory, and foster a cohesive, energetic work environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience using POS, scheduling, HRIS, and time-and-attendance systems.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and team performance while delivering a Guest experience reflecting Experience First culture.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks with guidance of Assistant Workshop Manager.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions with input from the AWM.
• Lead shifts, enforce policies, and coordinate with DM/HR on violations.
• Ensure displays meet brand standards and maintain inviting store environment.
• Oversee inventory receiving, stocking, and counts.
• Develop a high-performing team in partnership with the AWM.
