Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking a Full Time Store Manager to drive sales, guest experience, and team performance. You will coach AWMs, SLs, and Bear Builders, manage payroll and scheduling, and ensure adherence to brand standards across operations.

The role requires strong leadership, decision making, and the ability to hire, promote, and develop a high-performing team within a busy retail environment. Excellent communication and customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a customer-centric business.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience using store technology solutions (POS, scheduling, HRIS, time and attendance).

Responsibilities

• Coach store team to drive sales and guest experience, manage payroll and scheduling.
• Create weekly schedules and assign daily tasks for staff with the AWM.
• Make hiring and promotion decisions based on feedback and recommendations.
• Lead shifts, enforce policy and coordinate with DM/HR on escalations.
• Oversee merchandising displays and inventory processes to maintain standards.
