Job summary

Salesforce seeks an Experience Architect on the Solution Design team to shape delivery for enterprise customers, translating requirements into elegant, buildable designs within the Salesforce Delivery Methodology. You will drive AI-enabled design choices, collaborate with Delivery Managers, and ensure alignment with customer goals across Salesforce products and Slack.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of solution design, architecture, or technical consulting experience, preferably in SaaS or professional services.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions involving collaboration, workflow, or integration platforms.
• Working knowledge of the Salesforce Delivery Methodology and Slack/Slack AI capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ambiguity and requirements.
• Excellent communication for translating design decisions to customers and teams.
• Hands-on familiarity with integration patterns and API-based architecture, ideally with Salesforce.
• A collaborative mindset partnering with Delivery Managers, Architects, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Own solution design across Discover, Define, and Design stages within the Salesforce Delivery Methodology.
• Evaluate Slack/Slack AI capabilities versus custom configuration for the simplest viable path.
• Partner with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, and stakeholders to align with scope and timeline.
• Produce and maintain solution design artifacts for development and QA teams.
• Lead design workshops and facilitate trade-off discussions for a validated solution.
• Surface design risks early and resolve them with cross-functional teams.
• Improve design practices and reuse patterns, leveraging AI-native tooling.
• Identify integration points with Salesforce products and design cross-cloud solutions.
• Support post-launch adoption by planning change management and platform maturity.
