Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Experience Architect to lead solution design for enterprise customer implementations, balancing customer needs with platform capabilities and delivery feasibility across the Salesforce Delivery Methodology.

You will design, validate, and document solutions for Enterprise customers, partnering with Delivery Managers and Technical Architects to ensure scalable, AI-enabled outcomes across Slack and Salesforce products.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of solution design, architecture, or technical consulting experience, preferably in SaaS and/or professional services.
• Demonstrated experience designing enterprise-scale solutions involving collaboration, workflow, or integration platforms.
• Working knowledge of (or ability to quickly ramp on) the Salesforce Delivery Methodology and Slack/Slack AI product capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through ambiguity and competing requirements to land on the right design.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical design decisions to both customer stakeholders and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Own solution design across Discover, Define, and Design stages of the Salesforce Delivery Methodology, translating customer requirements into clear, buildable solution designs.
• Evaluate and recommend the right mix of out-of-the-box Slack/Slack AI capabilities versus custom configuration, always favoring the simplest viable path.
• Partner with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, and customer stakeholders to align design with scope, timeline, and success measures.
• Produce and maintain solution design artifacts—architecture diagrams, functional specs, configuration workbooks—that development and QA teams can build against.
• Lead design workshops with customer technical and business stakeholders, facilitating trade-off discussions and driving toward a validated solution.
• Proactively surface design risks and work cross-functionally to resolve them before they impact delivery.
• Continuously improve design practices and reusable design patterns, incorporating AI-native tooling to increase efficiency.
• Identify integration points with Salesforce products (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Agentforce) and design cross-cloud solutions that keep Slack at the center.
• Support post-launch adoption by ensuring the solution design accounts for change management and long-term platform maturity.
