MRE Consulting, Ltd. in Austin is seeking an experienced Executive IT Support Specialist to provide hands-on, high-touch technology support for executives as the new location scales to about 200 employees.

The role blends deskside, on-site hardware setup and proactive system administration across Apple/Mac and Windows devices, Microsoft 365, Intune, and collaboration platforms, with an emphasis on discretion and professional, executive-facing service.

Qualifications

Executive-level IT support experience in a corporate setting.
Strong Apple/Mac and Windows endpoint skills.
Proficient with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Excel.
Experience with Microsoft Intune or similar MDM.
Experience with iOS/Android devices.
Strong hardware/troubleshooting for laptops, monitors, peripherals.
Basic networking knowledge (Wi‑Fi, LAN, VPN) and remote desktop.
Excellent verbal and written communication with executives.

Responsibilities

Provide white-glove IT support to executives from issue identification through resolution.
Serve as primary onsite tech resource for the Austin location buildout and operations.
Install and support Apple/Mac and Windows devices, with emphasis on Apple.
Support mobile devices and Microsoft productivity tools (365, Outlook, Office).
Manage endpoint configuration and deployment with Intune or similar.
Set up deskside hardware including printers, docks, and peripherals.
Troubleshoot network, Wi‑Fi, VPN, and conferencing systems.
Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and service desk teams as needed.
Assist with meetings, presentations, and executive schedules requiring tech readiness.
Document equipment configurations and recurring issues for site maturation.
