Amex GBT in the United States is seeking a Senior Event Manager to plan and deliver complex programs for a dedicated Experience Studio team supporting a single enterprise client. You will lead multiday events for 500+ attendees, with budgets over $1 million, and work with a producer to turn briefs into executable plans.

You will manage budgets from initial estimates to reconciliation, coordinate hotels, venues, transportation, and on-site logistics, mentoring Event Managers and ensuring timely

Formación

• Seven or more years planning corporate meetings and incentives.
• Budget management for programs above $1 million with forecasts.
• Experience leading multiday executive programs and onsite teams.
• Ability to lead with a producer and manage client expectations.
• Strong hotel and supplier contracts: cancellations, minimums, terms.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and deliver complex programs from kickoff through onsite execution for 500+ attendees.
• Serve as planning lead with the producer, translating briefs into actionable plans.
• Build and manage budgets from initial estimates through reconciliation.
• Develop the planning calendar and ensure teams adhere to dates.
• Coordinate hotels, venues, transport, F&B, and destination partners.
• Oversee registration, housing, and attendee communications.
• Lead onsite logistics including staffing, room sets, and VIP movements.
• Mentor Event Managers and cover peaks across the calendar.
• Maintain planning files for handover and post-program review.
• Raise risks early with recommendations to producers and Studio Ops Manager.
