Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a seasoned Executive Director of Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) to lead the development and execution of HEOR strategies across the nephrology portfolio, including FILSPARI. The role partners with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Clinical Development, and Regulatory to deliver high-quality evidence demonstrating value across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required; PhD/PharmD/MD strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of HEOR, real-world evidence, outcomes research, or related experience in biopharma.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing HEOR and evidence-generation strategies.
• Experience with real-world data sources (claims, EMR/EHR, registries) and health economic modeling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the HEOR and value evidence strategy across Travere's nephrology portfolio, including FILSPARI and future assets.
• Develop integrated evidence-generation plans addressing clinical, economic, humanistic, and healthcare decision-maker needs across the product lifecycle.
• Partner with Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, and Biostatistics to identify evidence gaps and align HEOR priorities.
• Lead health economic research, including cost-effectiveness, budget impact, cost-of-illness, and healthcare resource utilization analyses.
• Develop and execute real-world evidence studies leveraging claims, EMR, registries, and other data sources.
• Lead the patient-reported outcomes strategy, including PRO measures development and validation.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development to incorporate HEOR considerations early in development.
• Identify opportunities to complement trial evidence with epidemiology and real-world data.
• Develop evidence to support payer, reimbursement, and HTA needs for access.
• Represent Travere externally with HEOR researchers, nephrology experts, and academic collaborators.
