Job summary

Morrison Living, a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations in a senior living community. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and staff development while delivering show quality meals and managing budgets.

You will lead culinary production, menu development, and training, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and driving resident and client satisfaction through exceptional food service.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences.
• Must be experienced with computers; MS Office suite.
• ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, and sanitation.
• Maintains inventory of food and non-food supplies to stay within guidelines.
• Establishes and maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local health and sanitation regulations.
