Job summary

Morrison Living, a member of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Chef Manager to lead both culinary and food service operations. You will oversee inventory, purchasing, menu development, and cost controls, with a focus on local sourcing and sustainability.

The role emphasizes HACCP knowledge, P&L accountability, and strong leadership in a contract foodservice environment. ServSafe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have a working knowledge of HACCP.
• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining, or restaurant with inventory/purchasing experience.
• Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, and food cost controls.
• Experience with exposition cooking.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience desirable.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with focus on local sourcing.
• Drives sustainability initiatives in operations.
