Job description

Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Location: Westchester County, NY

Executive Assistant to Director of Advancement (Fundraising)

A prominent private school (Pre‑K‑12) is looking for an Executive Assistant to support and be the “right hand” to the Director of Advancement. The role is based on campus, 5 days a week, 8 AM‑4 PM with some remote flexibility during the summer.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the Director’s complex calendar, prioritizing and adapting to shifting priorities.
  • Arrange travel with detailed itineraries.
  • Create and update presentations, prioritize emails, and craft correspondence on her behalf.
  • Help prepare the Director for Board of Directors meetings.
  • Prepare the Director for donor meetings, including collateral materials and research.
  • Co‑ordinate information flow with her direct reports.
Hours

8 AM‑4 PM, Monday‑Friday with flexibility over the summer to work remotely.

Benefits

About You

A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant to a high‑level executive; an interest in fundraising is a plus.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface with donors, parents and internal stakeholders with a team attitude and diplomacy
  • Trusted confidant to the Director who can handle confidential information with discretion
  • Very detail‑oriented with the ability to change gears quickly
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, Google Workspace skills; very tech‑savvy and not afraid of data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Anticipatory thinker with high intellectual bandwidth; a problem solver and results‑oriented
  • Engaging, polished demeanor and a true team player
  • Interest in education or fundraising is a plus.
