Job summary

Fairmount Park is seeking an EVS Supervisor to lead a team in creating a clean and safe guest environment at our Collinsville, IL location. You will develop policies, train staff, and monitor operations to enhance guest satisfaction while controlling costs.

The role requires 21+ years of age, IL gaming license, and strong MS Office skills, with flexibility for shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• High school or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work with shifting priorities and flexible shifts.

• Monitor labor resources to optimize guest services.

From live racing tradition to modern entertainment, there's always something exciting happening at Fairmount Park is Casino & Racing!Job Description:SUMMARYAs an EVS Supervisor, you will play a huge role in the welcoming experience of our guests by creating a clean and safe environment.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES• Assist with developing, implementing, and enforcing, policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, internal controls, Company policies and procedures, and organizational goals• Select, train, and develop team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action• Monitor labor resources to ensure maximum effectiveness in guest services• Produce and maintain a clean and safe environment• Make suggestions for improvements in operations with emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction, generating revenue, and minimizing costs• Investigate and resolve guest and team member complaints related to the EVS matters• Conduct and document inspections of public areas of the property to ensure all is cleaned and well maintained• Ensure storage closets are properly stocked with supplies and all equipment is properly maintained• Issues and collects master keys• Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS• Must be 21 years of age or older• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board• High school or equivalent is required; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred• Must be proficient in the entire Microsoft Suite• Must have excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills• Must have excellent problem-solving skills and must be able to work with shifting priorities• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holidayPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT• Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time• Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high• Frequently required to lift items up to 30 pounds• Occasionally required to push or move items up to 100 lbs• Frequently required to reach overhead• Occasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of time• You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position.Base Pay Range:50,000.00 - $55,000.00This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.Voluntary full-time employment benefits include medical, dental, and vision; life, AD&D, critical illness, and hospital insurance; short and long-term disability; identity/legal protection; as well as access to FSA and HSA accounts.
