Job summary

Fairmount Park Casino & Racing is seeking an experienced Slot Operations Leader to oversee all slot attendants and day-to-day operations. You will mentor staff, manage on-duty slot activities, support attendants, and coordinate with regulatory bodies.

The role requires problem-solving, training, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in slot operations or casino leadership, strong communication, and proficiency with slot management systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years in slot operations or casino leadership roles.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to organize, delegate, and manage multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of slot management systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Mentor team members to provide superior guest service.
• Oversee all slot operations while on duty.
• Support Slot Attendants and respond to guest correspondence and regulatory inquiries.
• Troubleshoot slot-related issues independently.

From live racing tradition to modern entertainment, there's always something exciting happening at Fairmount Park is Casino & Racing!Job Description:Oversee all slot attendants and day-to-day slot operations, assist slot management in all aspects of the slot department.Responsibilities:• Mentor team members to provide superior guest service• Oversee all aspects of the slot operations while on duty• Support Slot Attendants• Respond to guest correspondence, in-house projects, and departmental dealings with regulatory bodies• Troubleshoot and solve slot-related issues independently• Train and develop Slot team members through education, training, coaching, and corrective action• Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:• Must be 21 years of age or older• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent• Two to three years in slot operations or another casino leadership role• Excellent communication skills required• Must be able to organize, delegate, and follow through on any number of different projects• Working knowledge and experience with slot management systems and Microsoft Suite products• Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidayPhysical Demands:• Frequently required to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds and occasionally required to move up to 500 pounds with assistance• Frequently required to push, kneel, climb, stoop, bend, and twist, as well as reach overhead• Requires manual dexterity to conduct repairs on slot machinesWork Environment:May be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.Base Pay Range:$50,000 - $55,000This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position.
