Job summary

Fairmount Park Casino & Racing in the United States seeks a Security Supervisor to maintain a safe environment for guests, staff, and assets. You will lead the security team, oversee officers, and ensure incident reviews and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 21+ and the ability to obtain a gaming license; prior security or loss prevention experience and supervisory capabilities are preferred. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
• High school or equivalent required; college or military education preferred.
• Two or more years in security, safety, or loss prevention preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Strong organizational, planning, and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the security team through training, scheduling, evaluations, and corrective action.
• Supervise and manage Security Officers.
• Review Security Incident Reports.
• Oversee physical security of casino and assets.
• Ensure safety of guests, employees, and assets.
• Escort cash, chips, and table drops as needed.
• Report criminal or suspicious activity promptly.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
• Safeguard gaming integrity and deliver guest service.

Job Description

As a Security Supervisor, you will provide a safe environment for all guests, employees, company property, and assets.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of the security team through training, scheduling, conducting evaluations, and issuing corrective action
• Supervise and manage Security Officers
• Initiate the review of Security Incident Reports
• Oversee the physical security of the casino and company assets
• Responsible for the physical safety of guests, employees, and company assets
• Escort cash, chips, and table drops as needed
• Report any criminal or suspicious activity without hesitation
• Ensure the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental, and Company policies and procedures
• Communicate any violations of Company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements
• Safeguard the overall integrity of gaming
• Deliver superior guest service
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
• High school or equivalent required
• College or military education preferred
• Prior security, safety, or loss prevention experience preferred
• Two or more year’s related experience preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Strong organizational, planning, and supervisory skills are required
• Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Demands

• Frequently required to walk, run, kneel, stretch, push, twist, bend, and lift.
• Requires visual acuity to perform close-up activities and peripheral oversight
• Requires manual dexterity to conduct repairs on slot machines

Work Environment

The work environment contains bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations.

Base Pay Range

$50,000- $55,000 This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The base salary will depend on a number of factors such as: qualifications, experience level, and skillset.
