Job summary

Main Event in Orlando is hiring a Sales Event Coordinator to help guests plan memorable birthday and event experiences by creating a tailored vision of FUN. You will partner with guests to craft experiences based on their needs, selling and coordinating events and inputting data into our systems for follow-up actions.

Day-to-day duties include collaborating with the Sales Manager to beat targets, prospecting for new business, supporting local marketing, and participating in weekly sales

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience; food & beverage or retail experience is a plus.
• Guest-focused mindset and teamwork are essential.
• Relationship-building is very important.
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Able to effectively communicate with Management, Team Members and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Understand all aspects of event packages and add-ons.
• Sell, schedule and coordinate corporate, group and birthday events.
• Input sales revenue and guest information in systems and create follow-up tasks.
• Partner with Sales Manager to exceed targets and plans.
• Prospect and cold call to develop new and repeat business.
• Support local store marketing to drive walk-in and event sales.
• Attend weekly sales meetings and share strategic ideas.
• Perform opening, mid-day or closing duties and uphold safety standards.
