Main Event in California is seeking an Event Coordinator to collaborate with guests in planning memorable birthday and corporate events. You will sell, schedule, and coordinate events, input revenue and guest data, and follow up on opportunities to drive sales and guest satisfaction.

This role emphasizes a guest-focused mindset, teamwork, and strong communication with management, teammates, and clients, with flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience; food & beverage or retail experience is a plus.
• Guest-focused mindset and teamwork are essential.
• Relationship-building skills are important for repeat business.
• Proficient with Excel, Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Able to clearly communicate with management, team members, and guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Understand all event packages and add-ons.
• Sell, schedule, and coordinate corporate, group, and birthday events.
• Input sales revenue and guest information into systems; create follow-up tasks.
• Partner with the Sales Manager to exceed sales targets and quarterly plans.
• Prospect and cold call to develop new and repeat business relationships.
• Support local store marketing initiatives to drive walk-in and event sales.
• Attend weekly sales meetings to share strategic ideas.
• Perform opening, mid-day, or closing office duties; maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
