Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor in Florida to lead floor activities, oversee a technical team, and ensure excellent customer service during events. You will drive operational efficiency, train staff, and oversee AV setup, operation, and breakdown to support successful performances.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in hospitality or customer service with AV experience, plus strong problem-solving and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3–5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• External applicants must meet training/certifications within 60 days.
• Internal applicants must meet internal training requirements.
• Knowledge of technical theory.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Experience leading workflow and team members.
• Must have a valid driver’s license where required.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities for equipment setup, refresh and removal.
• Directs technicians and suggests operational efficiencies to management.
• Maintains updated flowsheets and coordinates event communications.
• Attends venue meetings as needed.
• Provides excellent service and upholds Encore standards.
• Trains technicians on floor activities and standards.
• Mentors new hires and reinforces a positive work environment.
• Sets up, operates and breaks down intermediate AV equipment; troubleshoots issues.
• Ensures equipment security, maintenance and safety compliance.
• Participates in inventory counts when requested.
