Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations with a focus on customer service, staff leadership and development. The role involves direct leadership of the technical team to ensure operational efficiency and client satisfaction in a hotel/convention center setting.

You will participate in venue meetings, mentor technicians, and ensure equipment is secure, well-maintained and compliant with safety standards. Occasional travel and irregular hours may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3-5 years customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 3-5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• External applicants must meet all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet certification requirements per Encore’s program.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily floor operations to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs technicians workflow and suggests operational efficiencies to venue management.
• Maintain updated flowsheets and ensure proper documentation.
