Job summary

Encore is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations with an emphasis on customer service, staff leadership, and development. You will direct the technical team to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, while supporting on-site administrative duties and career growth.

Reports to DET, DOO, or Operations Manager. The role requires AV experience, strong communication, and the ability to mentor new hires in a hotel/convention setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience is preferred.
• 3-5 year of audio-visual experience is required.
• External applicants must meet/train all requirements within 60 days of start date.
• Internal applicants must meet internal training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities for timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs technician workflow and assists management with operational efficiencies.
• Ensure flowsheets are updated and properly completed.
• Coordinate communications for event management with the team.
• Attend venue meetings as needed (e.g., daily banquet event orders, pre/post conferences).
• Provide excellent service and maintain client relationships on site.
