Job summary

Encore seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations at our Chicago venue, ensuring outstanding customer service and staff development. You will direct the technical team for efficient event execution, oversee equipment setup and maintenance, and contribute to venue administration for career progression.

A Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 3–5 years of hospitality/CS and strong AV experience; valid license and possible DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in customer service or hospitality.
• 3–5 years of audio-visual experience required.
• Must meet/train within 60 days; certifications per career path.
• Knowledge of technical theory.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and leadership ability.
• Valid driver’s license; DOT requirements may apply.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Organizes daily floor activities for timely setup, refresh, and removal of equipment.
• Directs technicians and suggests operational improvements for venue management.
• Ensure flowsheets are updated and correctly completed.
• Coordinate communications for event management and attend venue meetings.
