Job summary

Encore Support Services, based in Chicago, seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead floor operations with a strong emphasis on customer service, staff leadership, and development. You will directly supervise the technical team to ensure efficient operations and high guest satisfaction, while supporting onsite admin duties.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in hospitality or customer service and 3–5 years in audio-visual roles, with a valid driver’s license and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer service or hospitality experience.
• 3–5 years of audio-visual experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required for team members in positions that may operate Company vehicles.
• External applicants must meet/validate and achieve/complete all training and certifications within 60 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment.
• Directs the workflow of technicians and helps management with operational efficiencies for venue management and Workforce.
• Keeps flowsheets updated and properly completed.
• Works with team to establish coordinated communications for event management.
• Attends venue meetings (e.g., daily banquet event order meetings, pre/post conferences).
• Provides excellent service and upholds Encore’s Service Standards and Operational Excellence with clients onsite.
